JOC SECRETARY GENERAL WELCOMES ASIAN WRESTLING PRESIDENT

Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General, Rana Nazmi Al-Saeed, has welcomed Dolt Trlkhnov, President of the Asian Wrestling Federation and a Board Member of the International Wrestling Federation to the organisation’s headquarters in Amman.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Asian -15 and -20 Wrestling Championships which is being held in the Jordanian capital, and was also attended by Zamel Al-Shaharani, Board Member of the International Federation, Aziz Boukamel, President of the Arab Wrestling Federation, Mr. Cath, President of the South Korean Federation and Vice President of the Asian Federation, and Mr. Koji Fukuda, President of the Japanese Federation.
Al-Saeed welcomed the guests to Jordan and emphasized the importance of hosting the Championships with the JOC committed to ensuring its success by working closely with the Jordanian Wrestling Federation.
Furthermore, she underlined the need for closer collaboration between Jordan and both the International and Asian Federations to ensure that the sport can continue to grow in the Kingdom, whilst also building close ties with the national federations taking part.
