AL-SALAJ CLAIMS A BRONZE PAIR

Assem Al-Salaj has won a pair of bronze medals in the snatch and clean and jerk categories at the Weightlifting competitions being held at the 15th Arab Games in Algeria.
Al-Salaj’s medals came after he lifted 145kg in the snatch and then 177kg in the clean and jerk for the 102kg weight category.
Mohammed Al-Aboudi finished fourth in the 88kg competition, lifting 140kg in the snatch and 166kg in the clean and jerk.
In the 73kg weight category, Ahmed Al-Khawaldeh finished sixth in the snatch, lifting 120 kg, and eighth in the clean and jerk, lifting 140kg.
