HAT-TRICK OF BRONZE MEDALS FOR TABLE TENNIS

The Jordanian national Table Tennis team have wrapped up their participation at the 15th Arab Games in Algeria with three bronze medals in Tipaza.
Zaid Abu Yemen cruised through to the semi-finals, where he finally lost, with wins over players from Algeria, UAE and Sudan.
The men’s team, comprising of Zaid Abu Yemen, Ziad Dmeisi, Hassan Al Hurani and Khaled Khudair reached the semi-finals with wins over Palestine (3-0), Iraq (3-0), and Bahrain (3-2), but lost to Saudi Arabia, 2-3, to settle for bronze.
In the mixed doubles, the Abu Yemen and Tima Abu Yemen secured bronze medal by defeating Iraq, 3-0, in the quarters, but eventually lost to the Algeria pair, 1-3.
In the women's doubles, Abu Yemen and Batoul Khudair settled for bronze after suffering a semi-final defeat to Tunisia, despite a strong quarter-final win over Syria.
In the men’s singles, Zaid Abu Yemen and Ziad Dmeisi losyt at the quarter-final stage, while in the women’s singles, Tima Abu Yemen and Renad Al Husseini also lost at the last eight stage.
