ARAB GAMES FENCING GOLD FOR OUDA

Iyad Ouda has won a Fencing gold for Jordan at the 15th Arab Games taking place in Algeria.
He defeated Kuwait’s Hassan Al-Foudari, 15-10, to take the title in the épée competition.
Roa'a Al-Majali also a silver medal in the foil competition, losing her final to the host nation’s Mariam Mabrouki, 14-15.
A bronze medal was secured for Jordan by Osama El-Masri who lost in the semi-final of the sabre competition to Tunisia’s Ahmed El-Farjani, 14-15.
Abdullah Atahlah lost his sabre quarter-final match to Algeria’s Zakaria Bounchada, 12-15 and Zain Bassesa went out in the group stage of the foil competition.
