TABLE TENNIS SET THE MARK HIGH WITH OPENING WINS

Jordan have beaten Iraq and Palestine in the men’s team competitions to start their 15th Arab Games campaign in style.
Zaid Abu Yemen, Ziyad Al-Damisi, Hassan Al-Hourani, and Khaled Khader are looking in fine form as they completed a 3-0 victory against Iraq. They then followed it up with a 3-0 win over Palestine.
They play Algeria next and then finally Bahrain.
The women’s team of Zeina Sadaqa, Tima Abu Yemen, Renad Al-Husseini and Mira Hashem, were beaten by Bahrain and Algeria.
