GOALBALL OPEN WITH ARAB GAMES VICTORY

Jordan’s Goalball team have won their opening match at the 15th Arab Games against the host nation Algeria 18-12.
It was a tight affair, with Jordan holding a 9-7 advantage at half-time, before opening up a more convincing deficit in the second period.
Next up, they meet Saudi Arabia at 8.30pm and will also play Qatar before the top team in the four-team group plays fourth place and the second and third team meet for the second semi-final.
