VOLLEYBALLERS BEAT QATAR TO KEEP MEDAL HOPES ALIVE

Jordan’s female volleyballers beat Qatar 3-0 in the group stage of the Arab Games in Algeria to keep their medal hopes alive by qualifying for the semi-finals.
The 25-6, 25-7, 25-17 victory was the result they needed to guarantee a top four finish, and will look to better their position against the UAE on Monday.
The five teams play each other once in the group stage, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
