SWIMMERS CHALK UP MORE ARAB GAMES GLORY

Jordan’s swimmers have added a silver and a bronze medal to their tally at the 15th Arab Games taking place in Algeria.
Ziad Al-Salhous won silver in the 100m, clocking a time of 55.23 seconds to finish closely behind the winner, while Amro Al-Wir added to his 100m breaststroke gold on opening day, by winning bronze in the 200m medley race with a time of 2:06.85 minutes.
Al-Wir’s teammate, Omar Al-Abdallat, was fourth in the same race in a time of 2:11.90 minutes.
The swimmers have won five medals in Algeria, including one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
