JORDANIANS REACH LAST 16 IN BADMINTON

Four Jordan players are into the last 16 of the Badminton singles taking place at the 15th Arab Games in Algeria.
Bahaa Al Shneik beat Qatar’s Bakheet Alghanim 2-0 and Azeddine Abu Ara did the same to advance in the men’s, beating Iraq’s Youssef Khudur, 2-1.
In the women’s, Marah Omar beat Algeria’s Dounia Naïma, 2-0, and Mariam Abu Ara also reached the round of 16 by defeating Iraq’s Mariam Hanir, 2-0.
The action will continue on Friday with the doubles and mixed doubles, with the singles to resume on Saturday.
