JORDAN FLAG RAISED AT ARAB GAMES

In the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Feisal, the head of Team Jordan at the 15th Arab Games, the Jordanian flag was raised to the national anthem at the Athletes' Village in the Algerian capital, Algiers.
The ceremony took place on the eve of the Opening Ceremony which will be held at the July 5 Stadium.
The event gave HRH Princess Ayah the opportunity to discuss the latest arrangements with the delegation, with the meeting attended by Dr. Khalid Attiyat, Vice President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and Vice President of the delegation.
Jordan has taken 132 athletes to Algeria representing 17 sports, including athletics, badminton, 3x3 basketball (men's and women's), boxing, fencing, weightlifting, judo, karate, wrestling, women's and men's volleyball, swimming, gymnastics, chess, table tennis, handball, bell-ringing, and para-athletics.
