JORDAN OPEN MEDAL COUNT AT ARAB GAMES

Musbah Al-Momani has opened Jordan's medal count at the 15th Arab Games which have got underway in Algeria.
Al-Momani won bronze in the shot putt with a distance of 17.18 meters in the main stadium at the Olympic Complex in Oran.
Al-Momani finished just 1cm behind Bahraini Abd Mahmoud, with Egypt’s Mustafa Hassan winning gold with a mighty throw of 20.52m.
Meanwhile, Bilal Deyab reached the final of the 100m after finishing third in his heat with a time of 10.71 seconds.
Aliya Bushnaq also qualified for the final of the 400m after finishing fourth in her heat with a time of 57.52 seconds.
Tomorrow, Aboud Judah will compete in the 20km race walk, while Awad Al-Sharafat will participate in the final of the 1500m. Musbah Al-Momani will also compete in the discus finals.
