BOXERS BRACE FOR ARAB GAMES ACTION

Jordan’s boxers are in great shape ahead of launching their competitions at the 15th Arab Games on Friday at the Ben Aknoun Military Centre in Algeria.
The boxers that have travelled include several Olympians with expectations high for some medals. Boxing has the the second-highest number of medals won for Jordan in the history of the games, with a total of 41 won in the past including nine gold, six silver, and 26 bronze.
The delegation is led by Head Coach, Scott Dagoberto, with support from coaches Omar Hameed and Reem Al-Shammari.
The boxers are: Hudhaifa Ishaish (-51kg), Mahdi Al-Masha'ala (-54kg), Youssef Ishaish (-57kg), Mohammed Abu Jajah (-60kg), Mahdi Al-Matbouli (-67kg), Ziyad Ishaish (-71kg), Mohammed Al-Muhairat (-75kg), Hussein Ishaish (-80kg), Odai Al-Hindawi (-86kg), Mohammed Suleiman (-92kg), Mahmoud Ghanem (-92 kg), and Hanan Nasar (-52kg).
