HRH PRINCESS AYAH BINT FEISAL TO LEAD JORDAN AT PAN ARAB GAMES

Jordan will be led at the upcoming 15th Pan Arab Games which will be hosted in Algeria from July 5 -15.
Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Faisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation and member of the Jordan Olympic Committee Board of Directors, will lead the delegation which will consist of around 120 athletes competing in 17 sports.
Jordan will be bidding for medals in athletics, badminton, basketball 3x3 (men and women), boxing, fencing, weightlifting, judo, karate, wrestling, women's volleyball, swimming, gymnastics, chess, table tennis, handball, bell ball, and athletics for People of Determination.
The delegation held a briefing with the JOC at Amman Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City in the presence of HRH Princess Ayah, who is Chef de Mission, Dr. Sari Hamdan and Dr. Khaled Atiyat, JOC Vice-Presidents, and Nasser Al-Majali, JOC Secretary General.
HRH Princess Ayah welcomed the athletes and praised the efforts of the national teams in preparation for the event.
The meeting provided the chance for the delegation to learn of the latest developments for the Games which are returning after a 12-year absence, following the last edition in Doha, in 2011.
Jordan is the only country that have competed at every Games since its inception in the Egyptian city of Alexandria in 1953.
The Kingdom has bagged a total of 377 medals, including 72 gold, 103 silver, and 202 bronze medals.
