ISHAISH INTO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS QUARTERS

Yousef Ishaish has continued his run at the IBA World Boxing Championships by reaching the quarter finals in Uzbekistan.
His third victory came against Armenia’s Artur Bazeyan in the 57kg competition, following on from victories over fighters from Albania and Japan.
He will next fight reigning Asian champion and Olympic silver medallist, Abdulomalik Khalukov, from the host nation.
Meanwhile, Hudhaifa Ishaish lost his second fight in the -51kg competition to France’s Bilal Panama, the European champion.
Mohammed Al Muhairat is also out after losing his -75kg contest to Cuba’s Hernandez Yuenlis in the round of 32.
