SHNEIK MAKES BADMINTON HISTORY

Baha'a Al-Shneik has become the first Jordanian to qualify for the World Badminton Championships which will be held in Denmark from August 21-27.
He has climbed up to 88th place in the international rankings following some fine results, a climb of 14 places, and is now the top ranked Arab player.
This is the best ranking achieved by a Jordanian badminton player in the international rankings since the sport was officially recognised here in 1993.
He now has the 2024 Olympics firmly in his sights and will be looking to make an immediate impression on the world level.
