JORDAN OPEN WORLD BOXING CAMPAIGN WITH WINS

Jordan Boxers Yousef Ishaish and Ahmad Ta’imat have given Jordan the perfect start at the IBA World Boxing Championships which have opened in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Yousef Ishaish won his round of 64 fight in the -57kg category against Harada from Japan, and will next fight Albania’s Hatsalrani.
His teammate, Ahmed Al-Tuaimat, got his -92kg campaign under way with a win over Eldar Guliyev, from Azerbaijan, and will fight in the round of 32 next against second seed Emanuel Reyes of Spain.
On Day Two, Olympian Odai Al-Hindawi will meet Peter Onglo from Montenegro in the -86kg class, while fellow Olympian Obada Al-Kesbah will meet Antigua’s Ryan Alston in the -63.5kg competition.
Mohammad Al Muhairat will launch his campaign against South Korea’s Kim Sokhan in the -75kg weight.
