ARAB MEDALS GALORE FOR ARCHERS

Jordan achieved an incredible medal haul at the 12th Arab Archery Championships held in Djerba Midoun, Tunisia.
One of two gold medals were picked up by the team of Nour Salah El-Din Koujak, Asma Omar Hakouz and Nour Imad Togoj in the women’s Compound competition, while the second gold was picked up by Diana Al-Daoud in the Recurve competition.
The men’s team of Raad Shafakouj, Muhammad Shafakouj and Zaid Qursha won silver in the men’s Compound, while a second silver was picked up by Diana Al-Daoud in the Recurve.
Bronze medals were won by the U18 team consisting of Lara Dawoodi, Nour, Qula and Nour Qorsheh in the Recurve; the mixed team of Noor Qojak and Raad Shafaqouk in the Compound; a pair for Noor Qojak in the women’s singles Compound competitions; and Diana Al-Daoud in the Recurve.
