AHLI CLINCH CFI BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Ahli Club have won the CFI Premier Basketball League following their 78-75 win over The Orthodox Club in the final match of the best-of-five finals play-off at Prince Hamzeh Hall.
In what was a thrilling encounter, the deciding match went the way of Ahli, despite The Orthodox Club leading by two points at the halfway mark.
The victory followed a pulsating finals series, which saw Ahli dominate the first match, 102-76, before The Orthodox Club pulled level with a 94-90 win in match two.
Ahli regained the advantage with a 101-85 win in the third game, before The Orthodox Club took it to a fifth, and deciding, match with a 61-52 win in the fourth game.
