JORDAN PARTICIPATES IN OCA ATHLETES FORUM

The JOC Athletes Commission has participated at the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Athletes Forum, which was held in the Bangkok, Thailand, over the weekend.
Featuring 88 participants from 43 members of the Olympic Council of Asia, Jordan was represented by three-time Olympian Nadine Dawani, who is the Director of International Relations at the Jordan Olympic Committee; Kareem Ennab, former Olympic swimmer, and Alia Bushnaq, the national athletics team member.
During the forum, participants discussed anti-doping, sports safeguarding and a number of other topics.
The forum was attended by the Chairman of the Athletes Committee of the International Olympic Committee, Ms. Emma Terho; the Chairman of the Athletes Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia, Ms. Mikako Kotani; Hussein Al-Musallam, President of the International Swimming Federation and Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia; and Ikram Al-Tayeb, President of the International Hockey Federation, Vice-Chairman of the Players Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia, as well as a number of sports officials and personalities.
