QAQISH RETAINS ASIAN JU-JITSU TITLE

Yara Qaqish is still the best in Asia after winning the -70kg gold at the 7th Asian Ju-Jitsu Championships being held in Bangkok, Thailand.
She won the title for a second time in a row, her fourth medal at the championships, having previously won two silver medals too.
Qaqish started with a win over Emirati, Mahfouza, in the round of 16, and beat Vietnam’s Thien Nguyen in the quarter-final.
She continued her brilliant run in the semi-final against Thailand’s Onanong, before defeating Emirati, Marwa Al Hosani, in the final.
