HRH PRINCE HASHEM ATTENDS ESPORTS FINALE

His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II has attended the closing ceremony of the Jordan Esports Qualifiers Championship, which has been held over three days and welcomed over 250 gamers.
Organised by the Zain Esports Centre and the Jordan Esports Committee, the successful gamers will form the national Esports team to represent Jordan at international tournaments.
HRH Prince Hashem, accompanied by HRH Prince Omar bin Feisal, the Chairman of the Jordan Esports Committee, presented the awards to the captains of the winning teams who will participate at the 15th World Esports Championship in Romania and the 19th Asian Games that will be held in China later this year.
The tournament was held at the King Hussein Business Park and is part of the committee’s efforts to promote Esports in order to strengthen Jordan’s position on the global Esports stage. It will also further support the Kingdom’s efforts to become a leading destination for hosting national and international Esports tournaments in the future.
The winners:
The RTG team qualified in the AOV competition, where the award was received by team leader Mahmoud Bawadi.
The XD team won the LOL competition with team leader Ahmed Youssef collectin ggthe trophy.
The TD team qualified in the Dota 2 competition, with Mohammad Al-Amoush collecxting the team’s award.
In the individual competitions, Abdul Hakim Al Darawsheh qualified in FIFA 23; Saif Al Dababneh for eFootball; Ahmed Al Ali for Street Fighter; and Mohamed Tariq for Tekken. The closing ceremony of the championship was also attended by HRH Princess Aysha bint Feisal; HRH Sarah bint Feisal; Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Al-Hanandeh; Minister of Youth Mohammad Salama Al-Nabulsi; and CEO of Zain Jordan, Fahd Al-Jassem.
