ABU RABIE’ WINS ARAB SHOOTING TITLE

Olympic shooter Asmaa Abu Rabie has clinched the Air Pistol (10m) title at the Arab Championships being hosted in Cairo, Egypt.
She finished ahead of the Egyptian shooter, Hala El-Gohary, while Iraq’s Aya Al-Beiruti was third in a tournament that welcomed competitors from 11 countries.
Abu Rabie qualified to the last Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, to be the first to represent Jordan in the Olympics for 21 years, with shooting the first sport that saw Jordanian representation as far back as the 1980 Moscow Games.
