JORDAN WIN GOALBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Jordan’s Paralympic Goalball team has clinched the West Asian Championship title following their 11-5 win over Saudi Arabia in Ajman, UAE.
The national team, made up of Imad Elyan, Osama Zyoud, Muhammad Al-Sayed, Abdul-Ramahi, Muhammad Badr and Muhammad Al-Duqm, took the title with a brilliant 100% record from its seven matches.
Jordan’s golden run included group wins over Saudi Arabia (17-7), Kuwait (10-1), Oman (19-10), Qatar (11-4), and the UAE (13-3).
They then beat Oman in the semi-final, 13-3, before celebrating the championship with the final win over Saudi Arabia.
