HRH PRINCE FEISAL MEETS ATHLETES COMMISSION

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) President, has met with the Athletes Commission to discuss their role in the national sports strategy that is shaping the sporting future in Jordan.
Attended by his Vice Presidents, Dr. Sari Hamdan and Dr. Khaled Al-Attiyat, HRH Prince Feisal welcomed the new members of the commission for the 2023/2024 period, wishing them success in serving the sports sector, particularly in giving the athletes a voice.
The national sports strategy places a strong focus on the health and wellbeing of the athletes, with HRH Prince Feisal stressing the importance of the commission’s role in supporting athletes both during, and after, their sporting careers.
The committee members, who Olympians from a number of sports, reviewed their roles, objectives, work mechanisms and future plans, pledging that the Commission would represent the athletes to the best of their ability.
The new Athletes Commission consists of Nadine Dawani, Rima Yaqoub, Asmaa Abu Rabi`, Muhammad Abu Libdeh, Karim Ennab, Hussein Ishaiash, Al-Mu'tasim Billah Khair, Ahmed Abu Al-Saud, Alia Bushnaq, Dina Halasa, and Aya Al-Majali.
