FIGHTERS SET FOR KARATE PREMIER LEAGUE

Jordan’s top Karate fighters have arrived in Cairo, Egypt, where they will attempt to pressure the podium places at the 2023 World Premier League launch.
Omar Shakra, Abdullah Hammad, Afif Ghaith, Abdul Rahman Al-Musatfa, Hassan Masarwa, Ahmed Shadeed and Muhammad Al-Jaafari will all be hoping for medals as Jordan continues to build its international reputation in the sport.
The delegation is headed by Mr. Mustafa Al-Faouri, Director of the Federation, and includes coaches Mohammad Ibrahim and Muhammad Fatyan as well as the physio, Moath Al-Madani.
International referees Ibrahim Al-Daqs, Abdul Hafeez Alia, Fayek Al-Jaafari, and Hanadi Al-Banna will also be on duty.
The event is expected to welcome more than 400 fighters from 61 nations to this season opener with more rounds set to follow in Rabat (Morocco), Fukuoka (Japan) and Dublin (Ireland).
