HRH PRINCE FEISAL CHAIRS JOC BOARD MEETING

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), has chaired the latest meeting of the Board of Directors at Al-Salam Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City.
The meeting was attended by HRH Princess Alia Bint Al-Hussein, President of the Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation; His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Al-Nabulsi, Minister of Youth; His Excellency Ahmed Al-Hanandeh, Vice-President of the Jordan Olympic Committee; His Excellency Dr. Sari Hamdan; His Excellency Dr. Khaled Atiyat; JOC Secretary General, Nasser Al-Majali, as well as members of the Board.
The Prince gave a warm welcome and praised the great sporting achievements that were accomplished in 2022, and also praised the national sports federations (NSF) for the role they have played in supporting the Jordanian sports movement.
A presentation highlighted the year’s achievements which included 12 medals at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.
The meeting also approved the launch of the ‘Developing the Effectiveness of a Sports Organisation’ programme, which aims of develop and improve the performance of NSFs. The meeting approved the minutes of the latest Executive Office meetings and reviewed the initial budget for the Olympic Committee for 2023.
