Jordan have won six medals - including two golds, one silver and three bronze – on the second day of the Asian Junior, Youth, Under-21 and Adult Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The golds came in the U21 events with Muhammad Al-Jaafari (-84kg) and Afif Ghaith (-67kg) victorious.
The U21 national team player, Lyn Mansour, won silver in the -55kg category, while the three bronze medals were won by the youth team’s Lynn Haqrous (-53kg), Bisher Al Faouri (-68kg) and Rayan Al Amouri (-55kg).
The latest medals raised the national team’s tally to nine medals, including three gold, two silver and four bronze, as the junior and female youth team opened the participation with Layal Al-Jarrah (-54kg) winning gold, Balsam Al-Saeeda (-47kg) winning silver and Walid Qatamesh (-70kg) winning bronze.
