QARADEH WINS MORE INTERNATIONAL GOLD

Powerlifter Omar Qarada has clinched gold AT the 12th Fazza International Championship - World Cup, hosted by Dubai in the UAE.
With 243 powerlifters representing 40 countries, the event has brought the best there is together in preparation for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
And Qaradeh showed he will be one of the favourites for gold by winning the 49kg competition with a mighty lift of 176kg.
India’s Parmjit Kumar came second after he lifted 165kg, and the Hungarian Nandor was third with 159kg.
Jordan is also represented at the tournament by Muhammad Al Sheneti (-54kg), Abdul Karim Khattab, Ali Shubash (both -79kg), Moataz Al Junaidi (-107kg), Jamil Al Shibli (+107kg), Asmaa Issa (-79kg) and Tharwat Al-Hajjaj (-86kg).
