DOUBLE GOLD FOR TAEKWONDO WORLD BEATERS

Jordan have won two gold medals at the Riyadh 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final, underlining the Kingdom’s position as one the world’s leading nations for the sport.
Juliana Al Sadeq and Zaid Mustafa continued their brilliant form by coming out on top and ending the year in the best way possible.
Featuring the top 16 fighters from each weight, Al Sadeq claimed the -67kg gold, beating China’s Zhang 2-0 in the final.
It was her second Grand Prix medal this year, after winning silver in the Rome leg, and it is her fourth in total.
Mustafa clinched the -68kg gold medal, beating Uzbekistan’s Ulugbek Rashitov - the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion - 2-1.
This was Mustafa’s third Grand Prix medal this year, following silver medals won in Manchester and Paris.
By the end of the Grand Prix tour this year, Jordan won five medals, including two golds and three silvers. In total, Jordan have 11 Grand Prix medals, including four gold, four silver, and three bronze.
