ISHAISH INTO ASIAN BOXING QUARTER-FINALS

The latest member of the Ishaish family to make a name for himself on the international stage has reached the quarter-finals of the Asian Boxing Championships being held at the Rashid Al-Zayoud Hall in Amman.
Yousef Ishaish beat Filipino Mario Fernandez to reach the last eight of the -57kg class, and will now face top-ranked and World silver medallist Serik Timerzanov from Kazakhstan.
Tomorrow, Thursday, Jordan’s participation will continue with Uday Al-Hindawi (-86kg), Hussein Ishaish (-80kg) and Anas Al Saadi (-75kg) all competing.
