Jordan have won four medals, including two gold and two silver, at the Universities Martial Arts World Cup, hosted in the Turkish city of Samsun.
Mazen Jaidi won gold in the -84kg category after winning four fights, and the men’s team, consisting of Ahmed Shedid, Omar Shakra and Khamis Abu Hosa, won gold after winning the final against the Macedonia.
Rahaf Ali took -61kg silver after winning three fights but losing in the final match, while Ahmed Shedid also claimed silver in the -75kg weight, after winning three fights but losing in his final.
