HRH PRINCE FEISAL PRAISES TEAM JORDAN

HRH Prince Faisal Al Hussein, the President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), has praised Team Jordan’s success at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games hosted in Konya, Turkey, earlier this month.
Featuring 4,200 athletes from 54 countries, the Games were highly competitive, and Jordan returned home with a credible 12 medals.
HRH Prince Feisal spoke to the delegation via video link before they returned home, expressing his pride in the team’s efforts and the way they conducted themselves throughout the event.
Jordan’s two gold medals were secured by Gymnastics, Ahmed Abu Al-Saud, and Karate champion, Muhammad Al-Jaafari.
Four silver medals were won by kickboxers Ali Khalaf, Osaid Al-Jaafra and Mohi El-Din Osama, and taekwondo’s Fahd Ammar.
The six bronze medals were picked up by Uday Abu Haswa, Ibrahim Jumaa, Muhannad Al-Silawi (all Kickboxing), Abdul Rahman Al-Masatafa, Hassan Maasarwe (Karate) and Rama Abu Al-Rub (Taekwondo).
