ABU YAMAN TAKES TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

Zaid Abu Yaman took the men’s title at the Jordan Table Tennis Championship, beating reigning champion Ziyad Aziz 4-0 in the final.
On his way to the title, he also defeated Ayman Makani and Salameh Mahfouth who finished third and fourth respectively.
The women’s title was won by Sewar Abu Yaman who beat her sister Taima'4-2 to make it a big family affair. Yara Wael was third.
Nicola Al Deir won the youth title by beating Hassan Al Hourani 4-2 and Ayoub Jaber came third. The female youth category was won by Tina Khouri who beat Razan Al Aqrabawi 3-1. Lima Khater was third.
In the juniors' category (10-12 years) for males, Al Hourani made up for losing the youth title by beating Omar Al Oufi 3-0 in the final with Ayesh Awad placed third. Masah Al Khawaldeh won the juniors' female category 3-1 over Batoul Al Rashdan. Youth champion Khouri came third.
Dana Al Khatib won 7-9 years category with Mira Al Sa'aydeh placed second and Asal Al Khawaldeh in third. In the 7-9 years male category Raed Wael was first, Omar Al Khawaldeh was second and Ayham Al Bustanji came in third.
