SWIMMERS ADD TWO BRONZE MEDALS TO ARAB TOTAL

Jordan have added two more bronze medals to their haul at the 5th Arab Swimming Championships taking place in Oran, Algeria.
Amro Al Wir added a bronze in the 50m breaststroke to his previous 100m gold, while Talita Baqlah, Nadine Fanous, Maryam Mithqal and Karen Belbeisi finished third in the 4x100 medley.
Al Wir’s third-placed finish in the 50m in a time of 28.68 seconds was a new national record for Jordan.
At the end of day two, Jordan have won four medals, including one gold and three bronze.
