SHOOTING DOUBLE HAVE ISLAMIC GAMES IN THEIR SIGHTS

Jordan have continued their preparations for the upcoming 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be hosted in Konya, Turkey from August 9-18.

Among the delegation will be two shooters who have been tasked with competing for medals in three disciplines.

Sharif Al Ghalib will compete in the skeet, while Ahmed Al-Tarabishi is named for the trap. 

This is the second consecutive time that shooters have competed at the Islamic Solidarity Games following the last edition in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The team has stepped up its daily preparations, which include the mental and technical side of the sport, in order to reach the highest levels of competition.

The Shooting events at the Games will be held from August 10-16.
