BASKETBALL INTO ASIAN KNOCK-OUT STAGE

Jordan have beaten Saudi Arabia at the 2022 FIBA Asian Cup to advance to from the group stage.
Taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia, the match was controlled by Jordan who ran out 74-64 winners to secure second spot with two victories from three matches.
The other win came against the host nation with the only defeat against favourites, Australia, who won the group.
Next up for Jordan in the knock-out stage will be the third placed team in Group C, likely to be either China or Chinese Taipei. The winner of that ewill play Group C winners, either
Japan or Iran, in the quarter-finals.
