SHERGO CLINCHES FIRST PROFESSIONAL TITLE

Rising star Shergo Kurdi has clinched his first senior professional golf title to show that he continues to be a serious contender in the sport.
Kurdi won the Springs Tour event at Wallingford Golf Club in Oxfordshire, England, hitting a five-under-par 67 to finish a shot clear of England’s Alex Holmes.
The victory is the first gained by a Jordanian on European soil and sets him up nicely for a busy summer of events ahead.
The 18-year-old will be looking to climb the world rankings ladder this year after some admirable performances over the past 12 months in the senior game.
