MOTORSPORT SEASON LAUNCHES FRIDAY

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Jordan Motorsport Chairman, the 2016 season launches on Friday with a huge field of cars for the first national speed test at the Dead Sea.
With 55 entries, the event promises to provide a day of thrills and spills on the specially created track located opposite the Crowne Plaza.
The race includes two rounds for all of the competitors with the top 10 fastest then taking part in a final round to decide the winner.
All the top drivers are entered, including 2015 champion Mohammad Tayseer, and his closest rivals Jad Nabbas, Salim Ta'emeh, Raed Dahshan and the returning Ayman Al Najjar.
Action gets underway at 9am with entry free of charge.
