CLIMBERS REACHING THEIR PEAK

Sport Climbing is on the up in Jordan and the Jordan Climbing Federation (JCF) has launched its search for talent to compete on the international stage.
The second Jordan Open Climbing Championships were held at the Amman Climbat Hall, organised by the Federation, with the participation of 72 climbers from eight Arab nationalities, in addition to the participation of 21 children who competed in three age groups.
The JCF is determined to promote the sport to a wider audience and use the event to run the rule over the current crop of talent that is competing.
Sport Climbing is now an Olympic sport and will be part of the Paris 2024 Games.
The Federation Vice-President, Abdul Qader Al-Dabbas, welcomed the local, regional and international talent on show with climbers taking part from Egypt, Kuwait, Palestine and Lebanon.

3rd place: Zeina Fakhriddin
Men’s:
1st place: Abdelqader Al Dabbas
2nd place: Naser Abu Rajeeb
3rd place: Faisal Al Tajer
