WORLD BRONZE FOR BRILLIANT ABU SAUD

Ahmed Abu Al-Saud has won a fantastic bronze medal in the Pommel Horse at the third round of the Gymnastics World Cup series, held in Cairo’s International Stadium, Egypt.
Abu Al-Saud qualified for the final in fifth place, before moving up to third with a brilliant final performance which collected 14.53 points, enough to secure bronze.
Armenian, Harution Sardinian, just pipped him to the silver medal while Ireland’s Rhys McClenaghan - the bronze medallist of the 2019 World Championships - took gold with 14.97 points.
Abu Al-Saud will also be remembered for winning gold last September at the fifth round of the World Challenge Cup series in Turkey with this latest medal showing he is continuing to compete among the world’s best in the discipline.
