TABLE TENNIS SQUAD HEADS TO IRAQ

Jordan will be hoping to make an impact at the Sulaymaniyah International Table Tennis Championships in Iraq, organised by the international federation until March 30.
The event has attracted a large entry in the age groups of U19, 17, 15, 13, and 11, with players taking part from Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, Sweden, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Palestine, Belgium, Syria, Sri Lanka, Yemen, and Croatia.
Jordan’s delegation is headed up by federation board member Ahmed Al-Rifai, and includes fellow board member Hanadi Tuffaha as an administrator.
The playing squad includes Batool Khader, Rakan Al-Zoubi, Mira Rizk, Hashem Hababah, Murad Al-Hasani, Issa Al-Shama’a, Zina Sadaqa, Karim Al-Shaltouni, Lana Al-Shaltouni, Ola Dhariwat , Taqi Al-Din Al-Najadat, Aya Barakat and Hayyat Masoud.
Tareq Al Zu’bi, the federation President, pointed out that the tournament will provide a tremendous experience for the youngsters by exposing them to international competition.
