BOXER INTO ASIAN FINAL

Saif Al Rawashdeh has reached the final of the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships which are being held in Amman.
Al-Rawashdah reached the final after a clinical semi-final win over Kyrgyzstan’s Arbikov Goddarbek in the 92+kg weight category.
He will now fight India’s Aman Singh Bisht on Monday in the final.
Teammate Al-Matbouli settled for bronze after losing his semi-final of the -67kg competition to Kazakhstan's Islamovitov.
Muhammad Al-Telawi also settled for another Jordan bronze after losing in the 71kg’s last four to Uzbekistan’s Alisher Ayubov.
A third bronze medal was picked up by Razi Al-Hiyasat, who lost the semi-final to Sultanbek, from Kazakhstan, in the -80kg, adding to the bronze medal won earlier by Mohammed Al-Katout, after he ended his run in the semi-final to Kazakhstan’s Yardo Sharbeik.
