GOLD GALORE AT WEST ASIAN PARALYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan’s Paralympians have won four more medals including, three gold, at the West Asian Paralympic Championships hosted in Bahrain.
Powerlifters were responsible for the gold rush with Omar Qaradah (-49kg), Abdul Karim Khattab (-88kg) and Jamil Al-Shibli (107kg) all winning their weight categories.
The goal ball team clinched silver after losing the final to Iraq, 8-6.
Jordan finished with six medals, including four gold and two silver. Ahmed Hindi previously won the Shot Put gold, while Abi Asaad has won silver, also in Shot Put.
