JORDAN BEAT LEBANON IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Jordan took a giant step towards qualification to the 2023 FIBA World Cup with a tremendous victory over Lebanon inspired by the brilliant Dar Tucker.
An inspired Tucker scored 31 points as Jordan won 74-63 in from of a big crowd at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
The victory sent Jordan top of their group with Saudi Arabia in this second round of qualifiers with five points after two wins and a defeat. Lebanon and Indonesia are bottom after three defeats each.
Next up is Indonesia in the same venue at 6pm on Sunday night.
The Asian qualifiers for the World Cup see 16 teams divided into four groups, with the first three in each will qualifying to the next phase.
