AL HINDI TAKES WEST ASIA SHOT PUT GOLD

Jordan’s Paralympic sensation, Ahmad Al Hindi, has clinched Shot Put gold at the West Asian Paralympic Championships being held in Bahrain.
Despite carrying an injury, Al Hindi was not only able to compete, but he took the top spot on the podium with another impressive performance.
Meanwhile, teammate Abi Saad picked up a silver medal in the Pétanque competition.
The Goal Ball team recorded a big 10-4 victory over holders Qatar to make it four wins and a loss from five matches to sit second in the table behind Iraq, with the semi-finals set for Thursday.
