STUDENTS VIE TO BE THE SPORTS VOICES OF TOMORROW

Thousands of students have entered a competition to show their talents at being television or radio sports commentators.
The competition, organised by the Ministry of Education and the Jordan School Sports Federation in cooperation with Jordan TV’s Sports Channel, saw 12 male and female hopefuls qualify through to the final following a tough selection process.
The winners were honoured by Secretary General of the Ministry of Education Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Ajarmeh, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Jordan Olympic Committee, Nasser Majali.
Dr. Al-Ajarma praised the level of competition which he said underlined the level of talent among the two million pupils currently studying in Jordanian schools, and he calls on specialist sectors to engage with the education system to develop them.
Th sports channel and its commentators were thanks for their contribution to this first edition of the competition which will be repeated in future years.
