KARATE STARS HEAD TO PREMIER LEAGUE

Jordan has sent a strong team of fighters to compete at the first round of the WKF Premier League to be held in Fujairah, UAE, from February 18-20.
The delegation of consists of Chef De Mission, Saleh Hammad; Mustafa Al-Fauri, administrative; Muhammad Ibrahim, technical director; Muhammad Fityan, coach; and Moaz Al-Madani, coach.
The squad includes Olympic bronze medallist, Abdul Rahman Al-Masatafa, Mahmoud Al-Sajjan, Abdullah Hammad, Mazen Al-Jaidi, Hassan Masarweh, Afif Ghaith and Yazan Al-Wahr.
The referees delegation includes Ibrahim Al-Daqqas, Abdul Hafeez Alia, Faeq Al-Jaafari and Hanadi Al-Banna.
The event will welcome over 300 fighters representing 55 countries where the maximum number of participants in each weight will be 32 players.
Also, the Fujairah event will be held as a Round Robin system for the first time where the fighters will be divided into groups of four. The winner of each group will proceed to the quarter-final.
