FOUR MUAY THAI MEDALS AT JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan has picked up four medals, including a gold, at the World Youth Muay Thai Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Abdesalam clinched gold in the -15 age group for the -81kg weight category, after beating Estonia’s Nikita Isobsko in the final.
His teammate, Omar Al-Soub, also won silver in the -15 age group in the -63.5kg, where he defeated the German, Antonio Lovric, in the quarter-finals, and then beat Palestine’s Laith Khaled in the semi-finals, before losing in the final to Ukraine’s Nikita Zakharchenko.
Asaad Toukan also won a silver in the -15 age group for the -67kg weight category, where he defeated Emirati fighter, Mohammed Al Muhairi, in the semi-final, but then lost to Estonia’s Ruslan Mitjaev in the final match.
Meanwhile, Yamen Al-Shoufi won bronze in the -17 age group for the -71kg weight category.
