HANDBALL AGREEMENT SIGNED

The Jordan Handball Federation has signed a joint cooperation agreement with the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) to establish 29 centres for cadets and children across several regions of the Kingdom, with the work starting next week.
Dr. Tayseer Al-Mansi, President of the Jordan Handball Federation, stressed during the signing press conference at the Federation headquarters that these centres will identify talented young players and teach them life skills and proper sports behaviour, in addition to the basics of the sport of Handball.
He praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, who will make their halls available for the training centres.
Project manager at the German International Cooperation Organization (giz), Henin Tchek, welcomed the cooperation with the Handball Federation to adopt the project.
Tchek explained that the project is being supported by the German Government, and will support the Federation in attracting new, young players from different areas of Jordan to the sport, making a positive impact on the Kingdom’s youth.
