JORDAN START WORLD POWERLIFTING CHAMPS WITH SILVER

Mohammad Al-Shanti has launched Jordan’s campaign at the World Powerlifting Championship with a silver medal in Georgia.
Al-Shanti finished second in the -49kg weight category for juniors, after he lifted 131kg.
He will now compete on Sunday in the heavyweight competition in the men's category, hoping to qualify for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
